If you want a condo that's a walk to the lifts at a reasonable price, try Courchevel. There not the most fancy units, but like anything around the lifts, prices are moving up. (Until latest price correction) In 2003 you would have paid around $320,000 a for 2 bedroom/loft, 2 bath unit and high $200's for a 2 bedroom w/o the loft. For 2004 the 2 and loft units sold for $424,000 to $456,000, while the 2 bedroom no loft units went for $395,000 to $460,000. In 2005 there were 3 sales, $400,000-$470,000. In 2006, 7 sales for $390,000-$579,000. In 2007 there were 3 sales, all of 2/2 units at prices of $366,000-$514,000. In 2008 there were 3 sales of 2/2 units at prices of $320,000-$390,000
